Job summary

Performance Foodservice in Texas is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee all warehouse operations and the driver fleet, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance. You will lead staff, manage budgets, and drive continuous improvement to support the company’s distribution network.

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of foodservice operations or related area with management experience.
• 2-3 years in a leadership role for a team of >150 direct and indirect reports.

Responsibilities

• Supervise associates including scheduling, training and development counseling, performance management and problem resolution.
• Manage inventory dollar levels to achieve optimum cash flow and service level; develop and monitor budgets.
• Interact with customers and vendors in a friendly, timely and quality manner; ensure inquiries are answered accurately.
• Establish procedures which maximize efficiency of the operations department and allow high productivity.
• Solve operational problems and make decisions in situations with minimal standardization.
• Improve operational strategies and processes for food distribution.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
