Hanson Professional Services, Inc. seeks a Chief Traffic Engineer to lead the traffic engineering discipline nationwide. You will oversee QA/QC of traffic models, reports, and design studies while guiding project teams across offices.

The role requires 15+ years in traffic engineering, PE license in Illinois (or ability to obtain within 6 months), and strong client engagement skills. A $10,000 signing bonus is offered for full-time hires. Flexible options may exist for part-time candidates.

Qualifications

• Expertise in traffic analysis of intersections, interchanges, and corridors.
• Strong communication abilities to explain technical concepts to clients and engineers.
• Experience leading QA/QC reviews and mentoring staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA/QC reviews of traffic models, designs, and reports.
• Provide senior technical guidance to clients across markets.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop traffic staff across offices.
• Contribute to project proposals, scopes, and schedules.
