Job summary

Synchrony Financial seeks a Program Leader to drive cross-functional transformation programs supporting Technology and Operations initiatives. You will lead end-to-end program delivery, align initiatives to enterprise strategy, and deliver measurable business outcomes across multiple ARTs and partners.

You will partner with senior leaders to define vision and ramp up delivery speed, coaching teams in Lean-Agile practices while maintaining budget and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of technology experience and 5+ years of people leadership.
• 10+ years of program management experience with Agile/SAFe.
• 8+ years designing, developing, and implementing information systems.
• Willingness/ability to travel for business.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise Agile initiatives using SAFe methodologies.
• Direct cross-functional technology and business resources across the full Agile delivery lifecycle.
• Coordinate delivery across ARTs, SI partners, external dependency teams, and third-party partners.
• Develop and execute program plans; communicate status, milestones, risks, and issues to leadership; drive escalation and resolution.
• Identify, manage, and mitigate risks; manage cross-ART dependencies and prioritization to ensure on-time delivery.
• Own and manage the overall program budget, including forecasting and financial governance.
• Partner with stakeholders to align strategy, roadmap, and execution.
• Coach leaders and teams on Lean-Agile principles to improve delivery outcomes.
• Establish communications strategy; standardize delivery practices across TechOps ARTs.
• Drive continuous improvement by assessing ART agility/maturity and implementing measurable improvements.
• Partner with ART leadership to define metrics, dashboards, and reporting.
• Evangelize AI adoption across Operations to deliver measurable transformation outcomes.
• Lead modernization of the Operations footprint by scaling automation.
• Perform other duties or special projects as assigned.
