Job summary

Jazz Pharmaceuticals in the United States seeks a Head of Talent Management Strategy to lead the enterprise talent strategy, succession planning, and talent mobility. This strategic COE role partners with senior leaders and HRBPs to strengthen leadership bench strength and critical development across the business.

While the role is currently a Director level, applications from Senior Directors are welcome as Jazz considers creating a requisition for experienced candidates to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive talent management experience including HRBP
• Experience designing enterprise succession planning and talent assessment processes
• Experience partnering with senior stakeholders on leadership bench strength; life sciences/biotech a plus
• Experience building or operationalizing a skills-based talent strategy with modern taxonomies
• Hands on experience with modern Talent Tech ecosystems
• Strong People Analytics and data-driven decision making; translate metrics for execs
• Experience with performance enablement and continuous coaching cultures
• Strategic consultation, systems thinking, and organizational diagnostics
• Change management and executive influence

Responsibilities

• Architect a future-focused talent strategy grounded in Jazz's value-driven approach.
• Operationalize the enterprise skills taxonomy and design a scalable internal Talent Marketplace.
• Modernize and scale succession planning for executive and critical roles.
• Own the enterprise talent assessment methodology and calibration approach.
• Evolve performance management into a high-performance enablement model.
• Identify capabilities Jazz's future models will require and build targeted development strategies.
• Partner with People Analytics, HR Tech, and Learning to deploy modern talent systems (Workday Talent Optimization, AI matching).
