Job summary

Flowcode is seeking a senior leader to own People & Talent in our New York office. You will design and drive talent acquisition, people operations, and employee experience, building scalable processes from onboarding to retention.

This is a high-impact, in-person role reporting to the President. Ideal candidates have 7+ years in People & Talent, hands-on ops ownership, a proven senior-hire close track record, and experience using AI tools to power sourcing, screening, and analytics.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in People & Talent, including at least two years leading talent at a company between 50 and 500 people.
• You have recruited into both go-to-market and engineering.
• Hands-on ownership of People operations: PEO/HRIS, payroll, benefits and performance reviews.
• You have personally closed senior hires, not just managed a process.
• You run your funnel like a revenue pipeline: conversions, coverage, yield, cost per hire.
• You have partnered with managers on performance issues and know when to involve Legal.
• You are AI-native in practice, with workflows using AI tooling in sourcing and screening.
• You write and communicate clearly and effectively.
• You will be in our New York office; this is an in-person role.

Responsibilities

• Talent Acquisition: define the talent bar with calibrated scorecards and interview questions; maintain an always-on pipeline; prioritize outbound and referrals; accelerate time-to-offer-to-sign; own metrics and SLA; lead comp framing and offers; optimize agency spend; ensure defensible interview processes.
• People Operations: own employee lifecycle, onboarding to productivity, HRIS/PEO admin, benefits administration, performance review cycles, and people data analytics.
• Employee Experience & Internal Ops: lead Office Manager, own employee feedback (eNPS), All Hands, company offsites, recognition programs, and cross-functional initiatives.
• First-year scorecard prep: align on measurable outcomes for Talent Acquisition, People Ops, and engagement targets.
• Must-have leadership attributes: hands-on, data-driven, able to close senior hires, AI-enabled workflows, and strong communication in a NYC in-office setting.
