GMRE Inc. is led by a Chief Engineer who serves as the independent technical authority across current and future programs, ensuring airworthiness and safety.

The role collaborates with the Director of Engineering to align technical rigor with corporate strategy in the DoD aviation sector. The Chief Engineer provides objective assessments, reviews program health, and guides decisions with evidence-based risk management, engineering accountability, and cross-program collaboration to drive GMRE's

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline required.
• Twenty+ years aerospace/defense experience in design, development, integration, or sustainment.
• Five+ years senior technical leadership as Chief Engineer, Lead Systems Engineer, or equivalent.
• Experience leading major technical reviews and advising senior leadership or customers.
• Experience with DoD acquisition environments and safety- or mission-critical systems preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide independent technical oversight across GMRE's program and technology portfolio.
• Review significant, high-consequence technical decisions, risks, architectures, and readiness determinations.
• Chair independent technical reviews and evaluate whether evidence supports major conclusions and milestones.
• Mentor Lead Systems Engineers and senior technical leaders in systems thinking and risk-based decision-making.
• Advise the Director of Engineering and senior leadership on significant technical risks and priorities.
