Job summary

Avalore is seeking a Chief Engineer to lead systems engineering and design for the WDP System. You will establish the System Engineering Plan, coordinate between engineering teams, translate customer requirements, and represent the engineering team in the ECB to milestone decisions.

You will mentor junior engineers, drive engineering standards, and manage technical risks across the lifecycle. Security clearance and US work authorization are required.

Qualifications

US work authorization required; sponsorship not offered.
Bachelor's degree required for all levels.
Clear communication and self-starting mindset essential.
Experience with system engineering and design workflows is a plus.

Responsibilities

Oversee systems engineering and design activities for the WDP System.
Prepare and execute the System Engineering Plan (SEP).
Coordinate between engineering teams and translate customer requirements.
Represent engineering in the Engineering Control Board to support milestones.
Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge across disciplines.
