Job summary

Avalore.ai seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to apply rigorous systems engineering across the full lifecycle in a government-facing environment. You will interact with government personnel on technical considerations, ensure the integrity and completeness of deliverables, and lead multi-process area work products per ISO/IEC 15288.

The role requires advanced degrees or extensive experience, TS/SCI clearance, and the ability to guide engineering decisions and supervise teams on complex projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or related discipline with 10+ years of systems engineering experience
• Alternative paths include High School Diploma/GED with 14+ years of systems engineering experience
• Master's or PhD with 8+ years of systems engineering experience

Responsibilities

• Interact with Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and issues
• Ensure technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work and deliverables across ISO/IEC 15288 process areas
• Perform systems engineering activities and develop work products within ISO/IEC 15288 Process Areas
• Analyze alternatives and make preliminary recommendations for projects
• Supervise or coordinate the work of other engineers or technicians on a project
