Job summary

Avalore.ai seeks a Chief Engineer to oversee systems engineering and design for the WDP System, translating customer requirements into architecture and leading essential reviews.

You will prepare the System Engineering Plan (SEP), coordinate among engineering teams, manage risks, and mentor junior engineers to align technical solutions with program objectives. Willingness to travel up to 10% is expected.

Qualifications

• SECRET security clearance required.
• Certifications: CSSLP, GCLD, or GSEC for junior/journeyman; FITSP-D, GCSA, GISF, or SSCP for senior.
• Bachelor's Degree required; multiple levels with experience ranges.

Responsibilities

• Oversee systems engineering and design for the WDP System.
• Prepare, maintain, and execute the System Engineering Plan (SEP).
• Coordinate between engineering teams and translate customer requirements into designs.
• Represent engineering in ECB for milestones and decisions.
• Lead technical reviews and manage system risks throughout the lifecycle.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster knowledge sharing.
