Job summary

GE HealthCare is pursuing a strategic VP-level transformation to elevate software building experience across Heartbeat and CodeFlow. The role leads enterprise capabilities for faster, higher-quality software delivery with strong governance and AI-enabled tooling.

You will partner with Quality, Regulatory, Cybersecurity, IT, and product teams to establish standards, drive capabilities, and scale transformation across a regulated healthcare technology landscape.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Healthcare Tech or related field; or bachelor’s with 5+ years in the specialty.
• 15+ years leading enterprise software, engineering, or large-scale strategic initiatives in healthcare/regulated industries.
• Experience establishing governance models and platform operating models across complex organizations.
• Advanced working knowledge of regulated software development, Agile, DevSecOps, digital engineering, design controls, cybersecurity, and regulatory expectations.
• Strong understanding of modern software environments: developer platforms, CI/CD, cloud, software supply chains, build and release automation.
• Experience managing external consulting, advisory engagements, or strategic partnerships.
• Proven ability to influence senior executives and lead in matrixed organizations.

Responsibilities

• Shape the enterprise strategy for software engineering productivity and developer experience.
• Architect the CodeFlow operating model for scalable, regulated software transformation.
• Define enterprise standards for software development, DevSecOps, design controls, quality and cybersecurity.
• Lead integration of security, quality, compliance, and evidence generation into engineering workflows.
• Define outcome metrics and drive adoption, capacity, and value realization across GE HealthCare.
• Mobilize and lead a multidisciplinary organization with clear accountability for enterprise outcomes.
