Job summary

Morpho is seeking a Head of Security to define and drive the company’s security strategy across corporate IT, cloud, infrastructure, and applications. This hands-on leadership role will recruit, mentor, and lead a security team while staying technically engaged to earn the trust of a deeply technical organization.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in security with leadership experience.
• Crypto/Web3 security expertise.
• Experience building security teams.
• Hands-on technical expertise across cloud, infrastructure, CI/CD, identity.
• Owned incident response end-to-end and external communications.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive Morpho's security strategy across cloud, app, identity and security operations.
• Build and lead the security function: hire, grow, and develop the team.
• Oversee IT function and ensure robust governance.
• Stay hands-on: run threat modeling, architecture reviews, and incident response.
• Own incident response runbooks, escalation, and market communications.
• Lead counterparty security programs for partners and integrators.
• Drive certification strategy (SOC 2, ISO 27001) sustainably.
• Represent Morpho externally to fintechs and institutions.
• Partner with Engineering, Protocol, and Integrations to deliver security outcomes.
