Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a Senior Director of Risk Management & Construction Risk to lead the company’s risk program across ERM, insurance, surety, and loss prevention.

This role reports to the executive team and shapes risk strategy for operations, finance, and growth. Fully remote and strategic, the position partners with Operations, Legal, and Finance to steward risk, evaluate captive financing, optimize insurance programs, and support major projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a relevant field.
• 15+ years of progressive risk management/insurance experience in EPC, energy, or infrastructure sectors.
• Significant experience with large insurance and risk financing programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead Enterprise Risk Management framework and reporting.
• Advise executive leadership and the Board on risk across operations, finances, and strategic initiatives.
• Develop risk assessments, KRIs, dashboards, and risk registers.
• Oversee insurance programs including liability, workers' comp, auto, and property.
• Evaluate captive/self-insurance and other risk-financing structures.
• Manage surety program strategy and performance.
• Oversee claims management and loss-reduction efforts.
• Negotiate with insurers, brokers, and reinsurers; build partner relationships.
• Collaborate with Safety, Fleet, Legal, and Finance on risk controls and governance.
