Corebridge Financial is seeking a Managing Director, Ceded Reinsurance to lead and execute the enterprise ceded reinsurance strategy. You will oversee structuring, governance, and administration of ceded programs while partnering with reinsurers, regulators, and stakeholders to support profitability and risk management.

The role requires 10+ years in reinsurance with leadership experience, strong market knowledge, and a collaborative, data-driven approach.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience handling complex accounts in reinsurance.
• Progressive leadership experience with large reinsurance transactions.
• Expertise in sourcing and structuring reinsurance transactions.
• Experience building multi-year roadmaps and programs.
• Proven ability to lead diverse, matrixed teams and develop talent.
• Bachelor’s Degree required; advanced degree or designations preferred.
• Strong communication, influencing, and facilitation skills.
• Extensive knowledge of reinsurer marketplace and alternate solutions.
• Maintains market relationships to place business and resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Set and execute the enterprise ceded reinsurance strategy across all lines of business.
• Lead negotiations, execution, governance, and administration of reinsurance agreements.
• Partner with leaders to align reinsurance with financial and growth objectives.

• Represent the company with reinsurers, regulators, and industry groups.
• Monitor performance, obligations, and market relationships for sustainable outcomes.
• Oversee Bermuda and offshore affiliate reinsurance oversight and governance.
