Orlando Health, Inc. is seeking a Chief Quality Officer to lead the development and execution of the organizational quality plan, partnering with medical staff and leadership to drive high quality patient care across the system.

You will chair quality committees, advance safety culture, ensure compliance with Joint Commission standards, and collaborate with the System CMO to align clinical practices with strategic goals.

Qualifikationen

• Requires a medical degree or other advanced practitioner degree as determined appropriate by the hiring authority.
• Five (5) years’ experience as a clinical leader guiding multi-disciplinary clinical program activities.
• Background in clinical practice including epidemiology outcomes/quality measurement and/or clinical research.
• Excellent communication skills with a track record in fostering collaboration and building consensus.
• Experience with community-based medical practice.

Aufgaben

• Participates in developing the Orlando Health Quality Strategic plan and supports its implementation.
• Leads initiatives to promote a culture of quality and safety across the organization.
• Chairs quality and clinical committees and advises MEC/Credentials Committee as needed.
• Coordinates data collection, analysis, and reporting of medical errors and quality measures.
• Works with the System Chief Medical Officer to develop the organizational quality structure and policies.
• Maintains regulatory compliance with Joint Commission, ACHA, and other standards.
• Communicates quality processes and updates to executives and clinicians regularly.
• Acts as hospital Patient Safety Officer and supports community benefit initiatives.
