Job description

The client is seeking a Vice President, Chief Quality Officer (CQO) to lead quality and safety strategy and operational management during a period of significant transformation. This system-level role serves residents in a hyper-competitive, fast-growing market in central North Carolina, and reports to the Executive Vice President and Chief Physician Executive.

The client Chief Quality Officer will partner with senior clinical and leadership teams, including physician executive leaders, regional leaders, and nursing and medical group leadership, to advance enterprise-wide clinical and operational quality and safety. The CQO will build the strategy, infrastructure, and multidisciplinary teams needed to reduce variation in patient care and drive continuous improvement in clinical quality and patient safety, while supporting compliance with Joint Commission standards and other regulatory requirements.

The CQO will serve as a highly visible leader, fostering a culture of quality, safety, and value through evidence-based programs and continuous-improvement methodologies such as LEAN and Six Sigma.
