Job summary

The Capital District YMCA seeks a Vice President of Property to lead property management and strategic development across facilities. You will guide maintenance, renovations, and asset planning while upholding the YMCA mission and core values.

Reporting to the President/CEO, this executive role requires strong leadership, contract oversight, and cross-functional collaboration with senior management and external partners. Albany-based on-site position with travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Property Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5–10 years of Property Management & Development experience.
• Knowledge of construction and maintenance systems and the management thereof.
• Ability to manage contracts and represent the YMCA professionally.
• Commitment to the YMCA mission and core values (Caring, Honesty, Respect, Responsibility).

Responsibilities

• Direct property management functions for the association's facilities.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive property management strategy.
• Maintain inventory of properties and facilities.
• Forecast development/renovation and manage surplus assets.
• Represent Capital District YMCA with stakeholders and groups.
