Job summary

Cook Inlet Tribal Council is seeking a Chief Program Officer (CPO) to partner with the President & CEO in driving strategic, cradle-to-career programming across CITC’s departments. This executive role leads multi-department strategy, workforce development, and workforce partnerships to improve outcomes for Alaska Native communities.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Education, Human/Social Services, Organizational Leadership, Sociology, Psychology, or related field.
• Ten years of progressive management and supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of planning principles and socio-economic implications of program development.
• Understanding of the social, health, educational, training, and cultural needs of the Alaska Native and American Indian community.
• Five years of administrative experience in Tribal service delivery.
• Experience with contract and grants management.
• Experience in P.L. 93-638 and P.L. 102-477 preferred.
