Job summary

Noble Research Institute in Ardmore, Oklahoma seeks a Chief Program Officer to lead and integrate the Institute’s research, ranch operations, producer guidance, and partnerships into a cohesive system that advances the mission. The CPO aligns priorities, resolves tradeoffs, and ensures programmatic work is designed, coordinated, and executed to deliver meaningful outcomes for producers and partners.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in agriculture, science, education, or related field is required.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive leadership experience across research, program development, or applied agricultural systems.
• Demonstrated experience integrating research, operations, and education into a cohesive programmatic model.
• Experience working with producers, partners, and applied agricultural systems.
• Experience within a nonprofit, research, or mission-driven organization preferred.

• Leading and supporting individual and team performance and development.
• Serving as corporate officer to advance mission, vision and values.
• Leading programmatic execution across research, ranch operations, producer guidance, and partnerships.
• Driving programmatic integration, sequencing, and collaboration with Development and Policy.
• Ensuring programmatic quality, relevance, and impact across outputs.
• Managing programmatic priorities and tradeoffs to align with long-term impact.
• Partnering with the Executive Team to align programmatic needs with enterprise capacity.
