Job summary

Project Hospitality in Staten Island, NY seeks a seasoned Chief Program Officer to lead the organization’s program portfolio, ensuring excellence, quality, and mission alignment. The role reports to the CEO and supervises Deputy Chief Program Officers and the Community Impact Officer.

The CPO will guide cross-functional collaboration, program performance, and client-centered services, strengthening systems and sustaining long-term impact for the communities served.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred in related fields.
• Minimum 10 years of senior leadership experience in nonprofit or public sector settings.
• Strong knowledge of contract management, program operations, compliance, and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership and strategic oversight for the program portfolio.
• Supervise Deputy Chief Program Officers and Community Impact Officer.
• Ensure program performance, service quality, and alignment with mission.
• Collaborate with CEO and other executives to strengthen organizational performance.
• Identify risks, staffing needs, and funding alignment for programs.
• Foster cross-program coordination and client-centered service delivery.
