Job summary

Open Sky Community Services seeks a Chief Programs Officer (CPO) to provide executive leadership over a diverse continuum of services with oversight of 116 programs and about 1,003 program FTEs. The CPO will strengthen operational and financial performance, service integration, quality, and long-term sustainability in alignment with Open Sky’s mission and trauma-informed care.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in health and human services, public administration, or related field.
• 10+ years of senior leadership experience in complex health and human services organizations.
• Experience leading multi-service portfolios and financial performance.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed, person-centered care and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership across the service continuum and oversee 116 programs.
• Hold accountability for financial performance and sustainability of service portfolios.
• Strengthen workforce capacity, leadership development, and succession planning.
• Foster data-informed performance improvement, quality, and regulatory readiness.
• Represent Open Sky with funders, regulators, community stakeholders, and partners.
