Job summary

CITC seeks a Director/Sr. Director, Youth Education to lead cradle-to-career education initiatives and technology-based learning, driving partnerships with school districts and community organizations. This role advances career readiness, workforce development and lifelong learning for Alaska Native youth.

The incumbent will guide program strategy, secure funding, monitor outcomes, and ensure equitable access while coordinating with the Chief Program Officer and department heads.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Education or related field; evidence of strategic nonprofit leadership.
• Seven/ten years in education, nonprofit leadership or related field; management experience.
• Knowledge of Alaska Native/American Indian community needs and education systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for cradle-to-career education pathways and partnerships.
• Lead growth and sustainability of youth education programs across regions.
• Secure and manage grants, contracts and partnerships with compliance and reporting.
• Develop and communicate funding, performance and impact to funders and stakeholders.
• Collaborate across departments to deliver wraparound support for youth and families.
