Job summary

The Weinstein JCC in Richmond, VA seeks a Chief Operating Officer to lead programs, operations, facilities, and membership. You will partner with the CEO and Board to shape strategy, expand earned revenue, manage expenses, and ensure safety and high-quality service across all facilities.

This role requires strong budget oversight, staff leadership, and the ability to build partnerships with community organizations while delivering exceptional member experiences and sustainable growth.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise and support the Director of Membership and oversee membership growth strategies.
• Collaborate with senior management to maximize impact on the community.
• Provide budgeting guidance and oversight; support the Board with timely information.
• Develop and implement operating policies and procedures.
• Lead and coordinate facilities, security, and maintenance across multiple properties.
• Act as a spokesperson and build strategic partnerships within the community.
