Job summary

State Street Corporation is seeking a Head of Product & User Experience to lead discovery, own the end‑user experience and product roadmap for an AI‑first wealth and retirement advisory platform. This hands‑on leader will shape the product and design strategy and scale the Product, Design, and UX organization as the business grows.

The role requires 12–15+ years in consumer digital products with CPO/Head of Product experience, and emphasis on wealth tech or financial services.

Qualifications

• 12–15+ years of product leadership across product management, user experience and design.
• Prior CPO/Head of Product or equivalent experience required.
• Wealth technology or financial services experience preferred.
• Experience building and leading Product, Design, and UX organizations and recruiting talent.
• Demonstrated new product creation, vision, and launch ownership.
• Startup or new‑business creation experience required.
• Deep expertise in discovery, UX design, prototyping, and requirements management.
• Technical and AI fluency to partner with engineering and data teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead user discovery and translate insights into product priorities.
• Own end‑to‑end user experience across channels and design standards.
• Own product roadmap, requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and releases.
• Own AI‑enabled product design including personalization and guardrails.
• Start as hands‑on leader and build Product, Design, and UX teams as the company scales.
