Job summary

LPL Financial is seeking a Senior Vice President and Chief Privacy Officer to lead the design and execution of the enterprise privacy program, ensuring the organization effectively manages privacy and information-related risks. The CPO will establish an enterprise privacy framework, align policy with regulatory expectations, and partner with Compliance, Risk, IT, Legal, Data Governance, and Internal Audit.

This role requires 15+ years of leadership in privacy, data protection, and risk

Qualifications

15+ years of progressive leadership experience in privacy, legal, compliance, risk management, data protection, or related disciplines.
Understanding of privacy and data protection regulations impacting financial services organizations (GLBA, Regulation S-P, state privacy laws).
Experience within broker-dealer, registered investment advisor, bank, fintech, or other highly regulated financial services organization.

Responsibilities

Lead and continuously enhance enterprise privacy and data protection programs.
Establish privacy governance frameworks, policies, standards, and procedures.
Identify, assess, monitor, and report privacy-related risks across the enterprise.
Oversee privacy regulatory compliance and examinations, remediation, and action plans.
Provide leadership within AI governance and responsible innovation frameworks.
Manage data subject rights, consent management, and incident response coordination.
