Job summary

Xcimer Energy, headquartered in Denver, CO, seeks a seasoned Head of PMO to design and lead an enterprise PMO. You will establish governance, standards, tools, and staffing to ensure disciplined, fast delivery across Fusion and Defense programs, reporting to executives and partnering with program leads.

You will build a hub-and-spoke PMO, drive accountable milestones, manage risk visibility, and align stakeholders while shaping the PMO mandate and team from the ground up.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in program, portfolio, or PMO leadership.
• Experience leading large, complex programs within engineering-intensive environments (semiconductor, laser, nuclear, space or defense).
• Experience operating across a matrixed organization without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Define the PMO vision, mandate, operating model, and multi-year roadmap.
• Establish hub-and-spoke governance with enterprise hub and embedded program managers.
• Define roles, decision rights, and escalation paths across hub-and-spoke model.
