Job summary

Sprout is seeking a PMO Director to establish and mature a federated PMO, setting governance, standards, and delivery discipline across technology initiatives. You will partner with senior leadership to align portfolio demand with business cases and drive adoption of outcomes.

You will directly lead major programs including ERP, infrastructure, and security while coaching PMs and ensuring readiness, communication, and value realization across the organization.

Qualifications

• 10+ years leading technology project and program delivery, including PMO leadership.
• Proven experience maturing a PMO with governance, stage gates, templates.
• Track record delivering ERP, infrastructure, cybersecurity, or enterprise platform programs.
• Organizational change management: stakeholder engagement, training, readiness.
• Disciplined risk, issue, and dependency management across a portfolio.
• Hands-on cutover and go-live leadership, including rollback decisions.
• Experience coaching project managers and building delivery capability.
• Executive presence: communicate portfolio health to senior leadership.
• Budget, business case, resource planning, and vendor/SOW management fluency.
• Judgment on appropriate process for a mid-sized, fast-moving company.

Responsibilities

• Build and mature the Sprout PMO with governance and standards.
• Own portfolio intake, prioritization, and alignment to business cases.
• Provide executives with clear, timely project health and milestones.
• Lead major cross-functional technology programs (ERP, platform, infra, security).
• Define change strategy: stakeholder engagement, training, readiness plans.
• Identify and resolve cross-project risks, dependencies, and conflicts.
• Coach PMs and lead a federated group of project leads.
• Partner with vendors to enforce delivery standards and reporting.
• Measure realized benefits and drive adoption of delivered capabilities.
