Xcimer Energy, headquartered in Denver, CO, is seeking a Head of PMO to define governance, standards, and the operating model for its enterprise Program Management Office. You will align Fusion and Defense program managers under a common discipline, delivering on a multi-year roadmap.

You will hire and mentor the PMO team, establish ownership, risk visibility, and decision rights, and partner with executives to drive disciplined execution across an engineering-focused, fast-paced environment in

Qualifications

• 15+ years in program, portfolio, or PMO leadership.
• Experience leading large, complex programs within engineering-intensive environments.
• Experience operating in a matrixed organization and influencing without direct authority.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.
• Experience leading or supporting a hub-and-spoke PMO model with central and embedded program managers.
• Strong business and financial acumen with ability to tie strategy to execution and value.
• Exceptional executive presence and communication skills.
• Comfortable introducing governance and standards in engineering/science or hardware-intensive contexts without slowing teams.

Responsabilités

• Define the PMO's vision, mandate, operating model, and multi-year roadmap in partnership with department leadership.
• Establish the PMO as a hub-and-spoke function with enterprise accountability and dotted-line coordination to program managers.
• Define roles, decision rights, engagement models, and escalation paths across the hub-and-spoke model.
