Job summary

Cardinal Health seeks a Chief Pilot to lead the aviation group in Columbus, Ohio. You will oversee flight operations, crew scheduling, and regulatory compliance while driving safety and operational excellence across the department.

The role reports to the Vice President of Aviation, provides mentorship to flight crews, and supports strategic planning aligned with corporate objectives. A strong leadership presence and extensive aviation experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in aviation, business, or a related field (or equivalent operational experience).
• Master’s degree or CAM preferred.
• FAA Air Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate with Multiengine and Instrument ratings.
• Captain qualification on at least one Cardinal Health aircraft (Falcon 2000LXS or Embraer Praetor 500) preferred.
• FCC Radio Operator License and RVSM/High-Altitude Endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Lead pilot standardization and ensure SOPs are followed.
• Oversee flight operations compliance with FAA/ICAO and FOM.
• Supervise pilot scheduling, rest, and qualification readiness.
• Support Safety Management System and IS-BAO requirements.
• Oversee training programs and recurrent qualifications.
