Job summary

Cardinal Health in Columbus, Ohio, seeks a Chief Pilot to lead our Part 91 aviation operations with a focus on safety, compliance, and operational excellence. You will oversee the pilot group, flight operations, scheduling, training, and continuous improvement to align aviation with corporate objectives.

Requires FAA ATP with multi-engine and instrument ratings, extensive flight hours, and leadership in a flight department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in aviation, business, or related field; CAM or master's preferred.
• FAA ATP with multiengine and instrument ratings.
• Captain qualification on Cardinal Health aircraft (Falcon 2000LXS or Praetor 500) preferred.
• 5,000+ total flight hours; 3,000+ PIC hours; 1,000+ multi-engine turbine hours.
• 10+ years aviation experience with 3+ years in flight department leadership or standardization.

Responsibilities

• Lead pilot group, develop development plans and ensure SOP compliance.
• Ensure FAA/ICAO/FOM compliance and regulatory adherence.
• Oversee pilot scheduling, rest, and crew resource management.
• Support Safety Management System and IS-BAO compliance.
• Oversee training programs and recurrent qualifications.
• Assist budget, equipment needs, and vendor management.
