Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires ATPL and appropriate ratings for the aircraft used.
• Minimum 5 years airline pilot/leadership experience within the past 10 years.
• Eligible for US Government Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all Flight Department activities and crewmembers to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor crewmember proficiency for probationary and tenured pilots.
• Assist in recruitment and retention of Flight Crewmembers with Chief Pilot.
• Evaluate and report unsafe conditions; inform Chief Pilot to suspend operations if needed.
• Maintain knowledge of the General Operations Manual, Operations Specifications, FARs, and related instructions.
• Establish flight standards with Flight Standards to ensure safety, efficiency and quality.
• Develop and review policies to enhance safety and on-time performance.
• Maintain all flight publications for Company aircraft and ensure content consistency in manuals.
• Monitor and implement Safety Management System (SMS) processes within responsibility area.
• Other duties as assigned.
