Job summary
Care Synergy is seeking an experienced Chief Philanthropy Officer to lead philanthropy across its nonprofit healthcare network. Reporting to the CEO, the CPO will develop and execute a comprehensive enterprise-wide philanthropy strategy, overseeing major gifts, planned giving, annual giving, grants, and special events to support Care Synergy's mission and priorities.
The successful candidate will lead a philanthropy team based in Denver, collaborate with Affiliate leadership and boards,
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, nonprofit management, or a related field required.
- MBA and/or CFRE preferred.
- Minimum 8–10 years of fundraising leadership in healthcare or nonprofit settings.
- Experience leading comprehensive philanthropy programs including major gifts and annual giving.
Responsibilities
- Lead philanthropy across Care Synergy and its Affiliates with enterprise-wide strategy.
- Oversee major gifts, planned giving, annual giving, grants, stewardship and events.
- Collaborate with CEO, Affiliate leadership, and boards on donor engagement and growth.
- Build fundraising operations, analytics, and data integrity.
- Ensure compliance with legal and ethical fundraising standards.
