Job summary

Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County seeks a visionary Chief Philanthropy Officer to lead the federation's integrated philanthropy enterprise, donor engagement, and strategic growth across annual, major, capital, and planned giving.

The CPO will translate the strategic plan into fundable opportunities, build a unified Office of Philanthropy, and deepen relationships with major donors, foundations, and corporate partners to advance Jewish life locally and globally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or relevant professional certification preferred.
• At least 12 years of progressively responsible philanthropy or nonprofit leadership experience incl. executive leadership.
• Experience leading a comprehensive philanthropy program including annual, major, planned, endowment and capital giving.
• Proven record of cultivating, soliciting and closing seven-figure gifts with major donors.
• Strong ability to lead senior professionals, manage change and build a performance-oriented culture.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a multi-year, enterprise philanthropy strategy aligned with the Federation's mission and priorities.
• Lead a high-impact donor-relations program and supervise major gifts, capital campaigns and foundations.
• Oversee Foundation governance, planned giving, and philanthropic planning to maximize community impact.
• Build and lead a strong Office of Philanthropy with integrated systems and dashboards.
• Serve as a strategic advisor to the President & CEO and lead a high-performing philanthropic team.
