Job summary

This role reports to the President & CEO, who evaluates performance annually.

The position requires a 4 year degree and 5–8 years fundraising experience, travel up to 50%, and a commitment to advancing the organization's mission through effective donor

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, communications, marketing, or related field.
• Five to eight years of progressive fundraising experience.
• Demonstrated success in major gift solicitation, campaign management, and donor stewardship.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with diverse audiences.
• Proficiency in donor management and CRM systems (Donor Perfect, Bloomerang, Salesforce).
• Willingness to travel locally and regionally.
• Authorized to work in the United States and able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a member of the Executive Leadership Team and participate in strategic planning.
• Partner with President & CEO and CFO to set philanthropic revenue goals.
• Develop and evaluate fundraising and donor engagement strategies.
• Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward donors and partners.
• Lead annual giving campaigns, capital campaigns, and sponsorship initiatives.
• Represent the organization in the community and with donors and volunteers.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Grant Manager on fundraising communications and grant activities.
• Monitor fundraising performance and report to leadership and the Board.
