Job summary

MTQ USA, headquartered in Buckeye, Arizona, seeks a Head of Human Resources to lead the HR function for the business unit onsite at Hicksman’s Headquarters in Buckeye. The role includes collaboration with executives, policy development, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include driving culture, directing recruiting and retention, performance management, benefits, and alignment with company mission and values. Travel to support field operations is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in food industry.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and public speaking skills.
• In-depth knowledge of HR management and employment laws/regulations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with executive leadership to drive vision, strategies and priorities; identify ways to build the best teams.
• Serve as strategic partner to develop organizational HR strategies aligned with business unit objectives.
• Lead recruiting, training, compensation, performance management, and employee relations.
• Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations governing HR processes.
