Placon Corp. seeks an experienced Vice President, Human Resources to join the Executive Leadership Team in Madison, WI. You will shape talent strategy, culture, compensation, benefits, and leadership development across multiple locations.

The role requires 8+ years in HR leadership within manufacturing, advancing workforce planning and retention while partnering with senior leaders to drive business results. Onsite, full-time role with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Competenze

• 8+ years of progressive HR leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Experience leading HR for large multi-shift, direct-labor workforces.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws.

• Serve on the Executive Leadership Team and translate business objectives into people strategies.
• Develop and lead a talent strategy addressing labor-market challenges.
• Lead HR team, mentoring staff and building capability to meet goals.
• Own employee retention with focus on production-floor turnover and reducing backfill costs.
• Lead culture development with programs to strengthen engagement and morale.
• Establish a market-based compensation philosophy using internal data and external benchmarks.
• Oversee benefits programs including broker/carrier relationships and 401(k) committees.
• Guide employee relations across sites and advise on resolutions.
• Develop and interpret HR policies ensuring compliance across locations.
• Strengthen HR structure across locations, clarifying centralized vs site responsibilities.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and 24/7 staffing needs with partners.
• Develop and evaluate leadership and team member development programs.
• Lead HRIS initiatives, including UKG implementation and data analytics.
• Develop internal and external communications strategies.
