Job summary

Crystal Practice Management in Austin seeks a senior HR leader to own every people-lever: hiring, talent development, compensation, and performance management. This strategy-seat role partners with the CEO to design org structure, build a scalable people program, and hire A‑players to sustain growth.

You will lead multi-state compliance, implement AI-assisted sourcing, and shape a culture that attracts top healthcare SaaS talent.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in people leadership roles at a growth-stage company (50–300 employees).
• Direct recruiting experience, sourcing and closing senior candidates.
• Built or rebuilt a performance management system.
• Compensation and leveling experience; defend to a board.
• Operational and compliance expertise: HRIS, multi-state employment law, benefits renewals, HIPAA.
• SaaS/healthcare software exposure preferred; PE-backed or search-funded background a plus.
• Active experimentation with AI in sourcing, interviews, and policy testing.

Responsibilities

• Own HR strategy: org design, compensation, and hiring decisions.
• Partner with the CEO to build scalable people operations.
• Develop and manage a high-performing talent pipeline.
• Close candidates and establish a recruiting moat and strong employer brand.
