Job summary

Trexquant is seeking a Chief Operating Officer to translate a strategic vision into an executable plan and ensure delivery across research, engineering, trading, data, and operations. You will work closely with the CEO and senior leaders to move ambitious objectives into concrete projects with milestones and accountable owners.

This is an execution-focused role requiring strong prioritization, risk management, and scalability as the firm expands across multiple asset classes and markets.

• Comfortable working across highly technical teams and complex systems.

Responsibilities

• Translate Trexquant's strategic vision into measurable company-wide goals and execution plans.
• Drive development of a unified research and trading platform across regions and assets.
• Coordinate research, engineering, data, trading, and operations to deliver infrastructure.
• Establish priorities, milestones, ownership, and timelines for major initiatives.
• Identify bottlenecks and dependencies from idea to backtest to production.
• Expand capabilities across equities, futures, bonds, options, ETFs, FX, and other assets.
• Coordinate multi-market trading infrastructure with brokers and counterparties.
• Develop scalable processes to sustain growth and execution.
• Hold teams accountable and remove obstacles to progress.
• Explore automation and AI to improve research, engineering, trading, and operations.
