Job summary

Housing Development Corporation MidAtlantic seeks a full-time Chief Operating Officer in Lancaster, PA. The COO will translate the mission into daily operations, lead the Operational Leadership Team, and ensure cross-departmental alignment, efficiency, and resident-centered service.

Reporting to the President & CEO, the role drives annual work plans, KPI dashboards, and strategic initiatives across Property Management, Resident Services, and Finance.

Qualifications

• Position requires a bachelor’s degree and 10 years of relevant experience in affordable housing or related fields.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive enterprise-wide programs.
• Strong strategic thinking, analytical and communication skills with external partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Operational Leadership Team and cross-functional problem-solving to meet enterprise goals.
• Direct annual work planning, dashboards, KPIs, budgets, and reporting to CEO and Board.
• Oversee risk management, change initiatives, and scalable processes for sustainable growth.
