Job summary

Housing Development MidAtlantic (HDC) seeks a Chief Operating Officer for our home office in Lancaster, PA. This executive role reports to the President & CEO and steers daily operations, cross-functional alignment, and long-term growth.

The COO leads the Operational Leadership Team, drives the annual work plan and performance dashboards, and champions resident-centered, values-based leadership across all lines of business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field required.
• At least 10 years of relevant management experience in affordable housing or related field.
• Proven strategic thinking, analytical ability, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Translate mission and strategy into daily operations with an executive view.
• Lead cross-functional teams and manage the Operational Leadership Team.
• Develop and execute annual work plans and KPI dashboards.
• Partner with CEO and Board to guide enterprise decisions and growth.
• Foster a inclusive, high-performing culture and robust risk management.
