Summary of Position

The Chief Operating Officer will lead fiscal, practice strategy, and day-to-day operations of the Gennev team. A growth mindset will be incredibly important in creating a first-of-its kind virtual care model that collaborates with in-person clinics throughout the United States, in addition to working directly with Payers, Health Plans and Employers. This fulltime position will report to the Gennev President, manage Clinical Operations and Business Analytics teams, and have a dyad partnership with Gennev’s Chief Medical Officer.

The COO will be a key executive leader responsible for overseeing and optimizing the organization’s business operations and care delivery processes. Additionally, this role will operationally integrate Gennev’s Virtual Health services with Unified OB/GYN and fertility clinics, delivering a first of its kind platform for a woman’s healthcare throughout her lifetime. Foundational to this role will be working with cross-functional teams, providing strategic direction, using data and analytics to enhance clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction and increase profitability.

Responsibilities
  • Leads operations to ensure that performance meets quality and financial objectives, including achieving high provider and patient satisfaction/NPS scores.
  • Manage the P&L for the Gennev business unit.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance, including management of all providers’ medical licensing.
  • Manages the Director of Clinical Operations whose focus is to deliver premium care for patients and providers across systems, processes and referral partnerships.
  • Collaborates with provider credentialing and contracting teams to ensure providers are in-network and credentials are up to date.
  • Forecasts physician capacity requirements and collaborates with Chief Medical Officer and Director of Dietitians and Lifestyle on recruitment and hiring to sustain 50-state coverage needs.
  • Develop the appropriate clinical and operating strategies to maximize patient quality, revenue, and profitability.
  • Provide administrative and clinical guidance and support to the care team to ensure quality outcomes for patients and ensure clinicians are operating at the top of their licensure.
  • Periodically review and approve care team clinical documentation and orders and provide coaching feedback for areas of clinical competency and accuracy.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration or related field required. A graduate degree in Business, Healthcare Administration is preferred, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
  • Seven years of accomplished healthcare leadership in a complex, and integrated healthcare setting.
  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role within clinical operations and care delivery in a healthcare setting.
  • Previous experience in telehealth care delivery models.
  • Experience in managing forecast to budget and overall P&L ownership.
  • Experience using Excel, Power BI, Athena (EMR), and other tools for analyzing data trends, managing forecasts and growth models.
