Job summary

GSK is seeking a Clinical Development Lead (CDL) – Oncology GU to drive the asset’s clinical strategy, scientific narrative, and decision framework across its lifecycle. You will partner with the MDT core quad to position development, governance, and investment decisions, translating clinical evidence into strategic portfolio recommendations.

As a senior clinical leader, you will oversee governance, design, execution, and data generation for the asset, mentoring scientists and leading

Qualifications

• MD, PharmD, PhD, or equivalent advanced degree required (MD strongly preferred).
• Minimum 10 years+ pharmaceutical or relevant scientific experience, with at least 7 years in oncology clinical development.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in complex environments.
• Strong knowledge of GCP, ICH, FDA/EMA/NICE regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Define the asset-level clinical strategy, scientific narrative, and decision framework across the lifecycle.
• Lead governance and investment discussions with senior management and cross-functional teams.
• Act as the clinical authority for asset vision, development trajectory, and regulatory positioning in partnership with MDT core quad.
• Drive integrated development plans, evidence generation, and data-driven decision making across studies.
