GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) is seeking a VP, Oncology Clinical Development Disease Area Head to lead strategy across Hematology oncology assets. You will drive end-to-end development, from first‑in‑human to registrational trials and launch readiness, exercising matrix leadership across R&D, medical affairs and commercial partners.

Qualifications

• Medical degree with board certification or eligibility in oncology.
• At least 10 years clinical development experience leading global programs in hematology and oncology.
• Senior leadership in early- and late-phase oncology drug development, including FTIH to launch readiness.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end oncology asset development from FTIH to launch readiness.
• Shape scientific and clinical development strategy aligned with portfolio priorities.
• Integrate clinical and biomarker strategy into translational research.
• Champion novel approaches such as AI/ML and external data in development.
• Provide program oversight with cross-functional collaboration and governance.
