Job summary

START Center for Cancer Research in Atlanta seeks a Director of Study Operations to lead all aspects of study conduct, ensuring adherence to START standards, regulatory requirements, and high-quality patient care.

You will direct the Clinical Research Coordinator, Data Coordination and Medical Records teams with substantial autonomy, coordinating with Nursing and Shared Services to support activation and QA activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years leadership in oncology clinical research.
• CITI GCP training.
• Knowledge of GCP, GDPR and US regulations.
• MS Office and clinical documentation systems familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to CRC, Data Coordination, and Medical Records teams to meet site KPIs.
• Train staff and ensure competency for each role.
• Ensure data management and communication with monitors, with GCP compliance and SOPs per Global QMS.
• Support study acquisition/activation with global shared services; oversee data collection in Veeva.
• Ensure efficient processes to support patient care within clinical research.
• Apply continuous process improvement for patients and organization.
• Review protocols for feasibility with respect to operations.
• Foster inter-departmental collaboration with regulatory, quality, and finance.
• Support CTMS and EHR usage for accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with other leaders to drive process improvements.
• Partner with Nursing to lead site operations and strategic projects.
