Job summary

The START Center for Cancer Research in Norfolk, VA seeks a Director of Nursing & Study Operations to lead nursing teams and clinical research operations. You will ensure compliant, efficient care and study conduct across departments, guiding CTMS/EHR implementation and personnel development.

Responsibilities include overseeing referral intake, scheduling, study startup, and feasibility, while partnering with quality and regulatory teams to uphold GCP and GDPR standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Health-related field and an active RN license.
• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in oncology clinical research.
• CITI GCP training and familiarity with federal clinical research regulations (GCP/GDPR).

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive leadership to nursing and study operations teams across departments.
• Oversee referral intake, scheduling, study startup, and protocol feasibility.
• Collaborate with investigators, quality, regulatory, and cross-functional teams to ensure compliant study delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement of workflows and operational performance.
