Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Chief of Staff to scale the EVP of the CRO organization. You will drive top priorities, orchestrate initiatives across teams, and ensure executive briefs and progress against strategy.

The role blends operations, project management, and executive presence in a fast-paced tech environment. The successful candidate will manage complex calendars, coordinate with senior leaders, and oversee the Office of the EVP, including events and key initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of applicable administrative experience, ideally from a global software or technology organization.

Responsibilities

• Partner with EVP of the CRO organization to set, manage, and drive top priorities for the organization.
• Establish deep strategic and collaborative relationships across the team and functional partners to ensure offerings address core business needs and challenges within the CRO organization.
• Partner with EVP's EA to prioritize and enhance calendar activities and extend the bandwidth of the EVP.
• Ensure the EVP is appropriately briefed for each internal and external activity.
• Actively drive the business strategy (e.g. V2MOM) - inclusive of architecting and updating the V2MOM, and managing progress against it.
• Manage EVP's priorities, liaise with the leadership team and business partners on key initiatives. Aid in escalation, delegation, and resolution.
• Communicate with urgency and appropriate discretion and transparency to keep the EVP, leadership team, and partners informed and aligned.
• Create an operational rhythm for the Office of the EVP.
• Design and implement processes to increase EVP productivity & impact and create structure and focus for the team.
• Act as a thought partner and advisor to executives preparing for key review and planning meetings.
• Oversee customer engagement and participation in key industry events and Salesforce events
• Represent the EVP in internal and external meetings, as appropriate.
• Lead the Office of the EVP, including teams responsible for operations, events, and organization-specific initiatives.
• Own and manage the budget.
• Orchestrate appropriate information flow to accelerate the business and enhance EVP impact
• Assuming or delegating day-to-day responsibility for projects and tasks amongst the team, ensuring follow-up and follow-through
