Job description

Chief of Staff / Executive Assistant to CEO

(20-30 hrs/week, Remote, Preference for Toronto – EDT Hours)

We’re hiring a sharp, scrappy Executive Assistant to work directly with the CEO of SearchTides—a fast-growing, performance-driven marketing agency. You’ll be the right hand to the CEO, stepping into high-impact projects, keeping priorities moving, and making chaos look organized.

What You’ll Do
  • Recruiting Support: Source, schedule, and follow up with candidates for key roles.
  • Sales Enablement: Help build clean, persuasive decks, one-pagers, and other collateral.
  • Lead Sourcing: Find high-value prospects using LinkedIn Sales Navigator and similar tools.
  • Vendor Coordination: Keep freelancers, contractors, and agency partners on task.
  • General Execution: Take tasks off the CEO’s plate—research, outreach, follow-ups, scheduling, and more.
  • Inbox + Calendar Management: Gatekeep intelligently.
You Should Have
  • Experience supporting execs or founders in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
  • Solid understanding of the marketing industry (SEO familiarity is a plus).
  • Proficiency with:
    • LinkedIn Sales Navigator
    • ChatGPT (paid version) and other AI tools
    • Canva, Gamma.app, or similar for light design and visuals
  • Strong communication, follow-through, and organizational instincts.
  • Based in Toronto preferred, but open to candidates in North America. Must work ET/EDT hours.
Role Details
  • 20-30 hours/week to start, with the opportunity to grow into full-time.
  • Remote, with flexible hours aligned to Eastern Time.
  • Reports directly to the CEO.
