Statecraft, a DC-area AI-native startup, seeks a Chief of Staff to drive operations, research initiatives, and executive support. You’ll partner with the founding team to keep projects on schedule, coordinate people, finance, legal administration, and vendors, and gradually take on larger, independent initiatives.

You will build processes, propose clear recommendations, and ensure follow-through while maintaining organizational discretion in a fast-moving, early-stage environment.

Qualifikationen

• Experience supporting an executive or founding team.
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong written and verbal communication, with attention to detail.

Aufgaben

• Own research projects, define questions, investigate options, recommend actions and drive to completion.
• Prepare executive briefings and track decisions, owners, and commitments.
• Manage people operations, onboarding, payroll coordination, and vendor relations.
• Oversee deadlines, contracts, renewals, and budgeting with outside advisors.
• Support event planning and drive marketing campaigns.
• Coordinate executive scheduling, travel, meetings, and offsites.
