• Serves as the senior principal advisor in the management of natural and cultural resources and is responsible for program development, implementation and oversight.
• Develops and maintains effective working relations with Native Americans, other traditional associations, and related groups, agencies and the public; represents the superintendent when working with others on resource stewardship.
• Provides technical and substantive direct supervision to a highly specialized staff.
