Job summary

World Justice Project (WJP) is seeking a dynamic Chief of Partnerships to lead strategic fundraising efforts in Washington, DC. The role focuses on growing unrestricted and flexible funding from individuals, foundations, and corporations, while expanding the organization’s donor base and partnerships.

The CP will report to the Executive Director and serve on the senior leadership team, driving a multi-year fundraising plan and collaborating across program, research, communications, and finance

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible fundraising experience.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing fundraising strategies.
• Experience cultivating, soliciting, and closing major gifts from individuals, foundations, and corporations.
• Experience working with executive leadership and boards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive, multi-year fundraising strategy to grow revenue.
• Lead efforts to cultivate and close major gifts from high-net-worth individuals and families.
• Strengthen relationships with philanthropic foundations and corporations.
• Personally cultivate and steward key donors and prospects.
• Oversee fundraising budgets, revenue projections, donor pipelines, and metrics.
• Represent WJP at philanthropic, corporate, and international forums.
