Job summary

The Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) seeks a Vice President of Institutional Giving to lead a national fundraising program and broaden revenue streams from corporate partnerships, foundations, workplace giving, sponsorships, and peer-to-peer events.

The role oversees a distributed team, sets strategy, and partners with senior leaders to drive growth, accountability, and mission impact across the organization.

Qualifications

• Ten years of nonprofit fundraising experience.
• Experience cultivating corporate, foundation, and Sponsorship relationships.
• Eight+ years in staff management and budget oversight.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a multi-year institutional giving strategy.
• Lead a national, distributed fundraising team and meet revenue targets.
• Cultivate relationships with corporate executives and foundation leaders.
• Oversee budgets, forecasts, ROIs, and fundraising performance.
• Collaborate across programs to align opportunities with priorities.
• Represent the organization at conferences and events.
